Killer morning habit! drink water immediately after waking up in the morning..

Peeps..you all must be wondering about why this is suddenly a killer post..its just water dude, the world knows what it is..is it worth a post??like, really?…oh yes, its a million dollar post for me and for you too when you’ve finished reading this πŸ™‚

When you wake up, your body is actually craving for nothing else but WATER first. Just grab and quench your thirst ( you might not be aware at times that you’re thirsty but trust me, you are ) with atleast 200 ml to 500 ml of water (preferably from a copper vessel; my next post is on this)

THE MIRACLE METAL- COPPER

This can work wonders. Your health will be more rejuvenated than you can even imagine. This is sounding very easy to some of you – but you need to be consistent .. MAKE IT A HABIT!! for those of you who feel tacky or dirty about this, like consuming water without even brushing your teeth; its not tackier than what filth it will create inside your body if you don’t flush it off this way my dearies!:) I’m practicing this since 10 years, like literally and can’t explain enough, what magic it has created for me and my health ( I’m not boasting, but I am proud of my health..GOD’S GRACE comes first here, second is MY KILLER HABIT OF DRINKING WATER ON AN EMPTY STOMACH IMMEDIATELY AFTER WAKING UP IN THE MORNING!! )

In terms of Ayurveda, this practice of drinking water in the morning is known as USHAPAN ( bear with me as I’m a Naturopath too along with a Pharmacist, lol but no lol πŸ™‚ ) Read on to know the amazing benefits.

  1. RE-HYDRATE: 6 to 8 hours of sleep, quite a long time to go without water, isn’t it? 2 to 3 glasses of water ( 200 ml to 500 ml ) immediately after you wake up ( before even you brush your teeth; this holds importance, so mentioning it again ) is a good and simple method to re-hydrate your body quickly. It also aids in bowel regularity in the mornings.
  2. ACTS AS A BRAIN FUEL: Did you know our brain is made up of 70% water. Hence, for optimized activity, we should keep our brain hydrated. Fuel it up with water, specially in the morning, so that its ready to perform all day. This way, boost your energy for the day, make your body work ready. Important for all of us to know- Water in the morning stimulates faster growth of RBCs and generates more oxygen in the blood. Don’t you think this is an enough reason to kick start your mornings with BED WATER in place of BED TEA OR BED COFFEE? This killer habit will easily avoid mood swings and fatigue throughout the day ( major issue in this racing world ).
  3. IMMUNE BOOSTER: This definitely strengthens your immune system ( enhances the efficiency to fight against infections ), as a result of which, you are safe from viruses, sickness. To be specific, it also helps in preventing kidney stones ( water dilutes the substances in urine that lead to formation of stones ), bladder infections and proper functioning of internal organs.
  4. FULL BODY DETOX: A few glasses of water in the morning helps to get rid of the toxins in the body. When you sleep, body conducts a repair mechanism, thus accumulating unwanted substances that we call TOXINS. These are flushed out when you drink water, leaving you as fresh as a fully bloomed flower. If body had emojis to express, I’m sure after you drink water in the morning, it would show an ear to ear smile to you just to assure you that ” you are in full health “.
  5. METABOLISM: The absorption of vital nutrients, the process of enzyme synthesis and various other reactions are catalyzed by water. It helps to increase the metabolic rate thereby facilitating smooth functioning of the body. Don’t you think you’re missing too much if you aren’t yet having water ???
  6. HEALTHY WEIGHT LOSS: Yes, you’ve read it right. It’s weight loss, but without affecting your health. the toxins are released- increased metabolic rate- as a result improves your digestive system- you tend to feel less hungry- consequently your cravings for the day come down- this prevents you from gaining weight caused by overeating.
